Practicing Grammar with Movies

10 Nov

Watch this clip from the movie, The Rebound.  The man and the woman broke up with each other.  What have they done since they broke up?  Imagine that you are the man or the woman and you saw your ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend again.  What can you say about what you have done since you broke up?

Use the present perfect tense to describe the man’s and the woman’s experiences since they broke up.

Do you think that the man and woman should get back together?  Why or why not?  Have you watched this movie?

Could you recommend another movie that your classmates might enjoy?  Please comment!

Please write your sentences by clicking the comment button.  Don’t worry about repeating the same thing.  There are many ways to interpet the experiences.

Please comment and practice your writing.
