These links are to news stories about the first degree murder trial that is being held in Courtroom 20.  This is the one that we weren’t able to observe because it had already wrapped up for the day.  The trial is expected to last until May 2012 in case you’re interested in going back to the law courts.

Our Field Trip to the Law Courts

28 Mar

Today we visited the law courts on Hornby and Smithe.  I think that Mary Lou’s orientation to the courts was a great way for us to review what we learned over the past week.  I also enjoyed the two trials that I was able to watch.

Please comment on what you learned, what you saw and anything else that caught your attention today.  I’m looking forward to reading your comments.
