At 7:05 at the baseball game, we will be singing the Canadian National Anthem.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Listen to this famous song that people usually sing at a baseball game.

Take me out
To the ball game
Take me out
With the crowd
Buy me some peanuts
And Crackerjack
I don’t care if
I never  get back

Cause it’s root, root root
For the home team
If they don’t win
It’s a shame
For it’s one, two,
Three strikes you’re out
At the old ball game!

      Hi Doaa,

Thanks for leaving a comment about baseball. It sounds like you learned a lot about baseball. In the game we saw, the Vancouver Canadians had 3 runs in the 9th inning to make the game exciting. They nearly tied it, but they fell short. They lost the game 5 – 3.

While we were watching the game, I noticed how far the players have to run between the bases. Even though 90 feet doesn’t seem very far, I guess that it is pretty far if you are racing against a ball that is being thrown.

I hope you get a chance to watch a baseball game one day.

      Thanks,
      Jen
